ioctl(SIOCGIFHWADDR): Session 0: No such device

Hi,

I have a dual boot system Suse 10.1 and XP.
I had a working broad band connection, and suddenly the
phone company decided to change the connection from
one phone number to another one.
Anyways, the problem is that now I can connect to the internet using XP, but for some reason I am getting the following while connecting from Suse.
I haven't changed anything on the Suse side, therefore, not sure what is causing the error below.

Searching on the net says this is related to DHCP.
I don't know what DHCP is, and I have definitely not changed/used DHCP on my system.

I would be really thankful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Regards,
Shobhit.

Fixed it myself.
I had screwed up one of the inputs to adsl-setup
As mentioned, the phone company changed the phone line for broad band connection, and also the password.
To set the password, I had to run the adsl-setup command, which also asks for the interface name (typicall eth0). Here I just entered 0 instead of eth0.

Changed it to eth0 and up and running fine in good old Linux.
