IEEE 802.3ad from 2 HP 2626 to a unmanaged Digitus Switch

Hi folks,

I had a discussion with a friend of mine about uplinks from HP 2626 switch to an unmanaged digitus switch. The setup looks something like this Click image for larger version

We have 2x 1 GbiB uplink ports on the 2626 that we want to attach to the digitus. While the 2626 is aware of STP the digitus is not. That led me to believe that we can not use 2 uplinks. But my friend says we just trunk both uplink ports (on the 2626) and we'll be fine.
As I'm not that experienced with *bigger* networks and unmanaged switches I come to ask here. I would like to try this out but the switches arrive just the day they go live (LAN Party).

There are a lot of trunking port method. For IEEE 802.3ad, both switch has to be aware of the protocol.
