ICS between WinXP & RH9?

Hello!

I've finally managed a successful install of RedHat 9 on my laptop (it wouldn't install on my desktop - hmm), but now, I would like to be able to share my dsl connection so that I may use it via RedHat.

I already have ICS working all fine and well from within XP (on my desktop pc), as I share the connection with the Win2K installation on the same laptop all the time, but how do I go about letting RedHat use this connection? I've had a look in System Settings -> Network, have activated my ethernet card, and have played around with a few of the ip settings, but I can't get anything to work. Could anyone please shed some light on what I would need to do?

Thanks very much in advance!

Thanks for your reply

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to just be working "plug and play".

Where in the settings can I "setup intenet" "as cable/lan"? I can't see any option like that anywhere, unfortunately!
