Question Httpd Could Not Be Started

Hi all,
Got some trouble running apache.
when running /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start on RH
it always says
HTTPD COULD NOT BE STARTED

I've check /etc/hosts and here is the result :
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

Hostname give sx.provider.net

Do i have to change somethin within hosts ?

Regards,

Pierre
