How would I mounting /home as an nfs share before gnome starts

I want to mount /home as an nfs share before gnome starts.

I've tried doing this in fstab but for some reason it doesn't mount. OS is Ubuntu Feisty 7.04

if I try and mount it after gnome has problems loading applications in fact nothing loads.

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/nfs / nfs defaults 1 1
192.168.0.217:/home /home nfs defualts 1 1
none /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /var/run tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /var/lock tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /var/tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0

Hi,

I see a syntax error :
Quote:
defualts
And I'm not sure if it works with
Quote:
defaults 1 1
Try this :
Quote:
192.168.0.217:/home /home nfs defaults 0 0
Hope it helps

thank you for the help.

I was not able to get fstab to load my nfs share even with the fixes in syntax, what I did is add a script to /etc/rc5.d/ that loaded the nfs mounts before gnome starts.

after I did this the home directory worked just fine.
