Again, as you've been asked before in your other threads, you need to tell us what version/distro of Linux you're using. Because installing things from source, rather than from pre-compiled package, isn't the best way to go, unless you absolutely
NEED a particular feature.
Chances are you've got two binary packages..one from your source install, and one from the default package. Do an "rpm -qa | grep -i iptables", find the package name, and remove it. If you don't find anything, you'll have to hunt down the duplicate files one-by-one, and remove them.
Also, you're doing an install of 1.4.11...which is
NOT the latest version, which is 1.4.18. Why are you installing an old version?
