That really depends on what you want.

Do they want a different host name? in which case you can set up a virtual host (probably) and use the same pop3 socket

Do they want a completely seperate port? you could run another pop3 server on a different port (other than 110 that is).

or do they just want some sort of alias to the existing setup?

Hi There,
Some of clients, want to use different ISP pop3 A/C`s using my Linux Box as a Mail Server This i want to do.
So, i am looking for a software, that i can Enable or work like a universal for any pop3 A/C , for Example :- in my win2k server i am running winproxy has a proxy server with mail server for different pop3 , just put # and pop3 IP or mail.site.com.
Kindly give any site Link that i can work
Thanks

ok so do you want to provifr a proxy service through your gateway or do you want to retreive the mail from other pop servers and combine them all on your server in one central account?

if you want to run a proxy service them a simple firewall only letting the pop3 requests through would do this effictively. or in fact you could just set up a basic firewall at all and have this capability.

check out http://netfilter.samba.org for iptables setup info

If you want to retreive mail back for them and deliver it into a central account have a look at fetchmail
