WNxSquee LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Location: PA Posts: 29 Rep:	How to add a user to ProFTPD that works? Hey, Sorry I have posted about this in the software forum as well. I am not sure where this belongs. Just a looking for help. I finnaly got ProFTPD to work and I can log in with anonymous account. But I have tried everything that I can think of to add a new user to it. I believe I have created the new user properly but everytime I try to log on it tells me that it is bad password. I know it is CaSEseNsaTivE but everything is in lowercase so I did not screw that up. Here is a link to my other post with all my config info and error messages. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=132250 Someone told me before that it keeps a log of what happens but I don't know where that is. Can you tell me where I can find that since it might instruct me of what the problem is?
