how many users currently login


I want to identify how many users are login on linux clients, when NIS is running.

I don't know if the "w" command (yes, just one letter) is available on all linux distro's, but thats the command I use to see who is logged in on my systems. There is also the "who" command. See the man page for both commands.

users

these twor command w and who shows currently login users through console, ssh , telnet . but i want to know how can i know who are login on nis clients computers.
