Didn't work. When I click on apply, it gives me: "Invalid IP Address."

DI 604 has a virtual server tab in it's admin page... in advanced tab... there you can set..... it's webbased and really nothing to say..... get in side of the admin page of your device and then goto advanced>virtual server..there put the ips(LAN) you want to forward and then put the ports.. there are already some tmpletes.. also set the protocol. and your DI604 is a router that is doing NAt for you.. so put the public ip in the WAN, and put a ip block using a 24bit subnet (you have the only choise is to use a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 .. ) and that's all....
But i suggest you not use use these DI604s for some kind of real hosting.. because these device cannot take much load and i changed 3 di604 in three months after permanent hangs all of them...

Nothing, just like the guides shows in the example. It didn't tell me to enter an IP either.

I cannot enter an IP because I have a dynamic IP.

So how do I fix this?

The IP address will need to be the ip address of the machine you want to forward to and not your public IP address.

If you run "ifconfig eth0" it should tell you.

I ran out of space. I need to delete one of the following in order to complete my forwarding.

Which one should I delete? I don't know which one(s) I am least likely to use since I am no computer expert.

Code:
Virtual Server FTP	0.0.0.0	TCP 21/21
Virtual Server HTTP	0.0.0.0	TCP 80/80
Virtual Server HTTPS	0.0.0.0	TCP 443/443
Virtual Server DNS	0.0.0.0	UDP 53/53
Virtual Server SMTP	0.0.0.0	TCP 25/25
	Virtual Server POP3	0.0.0.0	TCP 110/110
Virtual Server Telnet	0.0.0.0	TCP 23/23
	IPSec 0.0.0.0	UDP 500/500
	PPTP 0.0.0.0	TCP 1723/1723
	NetMeeting 0.0.0.0	TCP 1720/1720
	DCS-1000 0.0.0.0	TCP 80/80
	DCS-2000/DCS-5300	0.0.0.0	TCP 800/800
	i2eye 0.0.0.0	TCP 1720/1720
	DCS-3120 0.0.0.0	UDP 3120/3120
Also, what does an asterisk in front of my Protocol mean?

Example:
Code:
	app1	192.168.0.XXX	* XXXX/XXXX

I would guess the asterisk means all - I would delete telnet first as that should definately not be used.

Thanks.

I couldn't get the port-trigger to work from the guide. When I hit Apply, nothing loads. And I have filled out everything. Is port-trigger important?
