How can I record 'no reply' pings?
I want to run a ping against a host and would like Windows-style 'no reply' entries to make log analysis easier. Is there a command option or something?
E.g.
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=1 ttl=64 time=1.63 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=2 ttl=64 time=1.62 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: No reply
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: No reply
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=5 ttl=64 time=1.63 ms
rather than
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=1 ttl=64 time=1.63 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=2 ttl=64 time=0.553 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=3 ttl=64 time=0.567 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=4 ttl=64 time=0.547 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=21 ttl=64 time=2.07 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=22 ttl=64 time=1.61 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_req=23 ttl=64 time=0.554 ms
