how can i change dns in mandrake10


i use dhcp my internet connection is very slow (resolving host) i edited /etc/resolv.conf but after reboot it changed again how can i edit dns

To force dhclient to set specific DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf, edit the dhclient.conf file (usually found in /etc/dhcp) and add the following line:

supersede domain-name-servers 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.1;

Just change the 192. addresses to your DNS servers. You can use as many as you want. For more info on dhcp options, do "man dhcp-options".
