Home/User on a Linux server

hello ...

I like to ask is it possible to install Linux server that contains the names of the users

and the users can log in from a clients which is also Linux and use the client as normal Linux box .. but the users must be registered on the server

and that all the home/use is on the serve like a personal folder

so when they log in it just bring them the use folder from the serve

so if they put file on the desktop it is saved on the server and when they log in from another client all the things that hey made will be as they lest it on the other client.

is this possible ... and if it is how it can be done

is there sites explains how.

I'm not that good with Linux

I hope I was clear as I make you get my point .. :-)

Sorry for my bad English

That would be using NIS/NIS+ and NFS (most normal
in a Linux/Unix environment) ...
