Hello guys i need help to create a PPPoE Connection ( Breoadband)using RHEL 5 cz my ISP use this type of connection .Plz if there is someone can show me the procedure step by step . i appreciat that .
To create a PPPoE Connection, you can either do it using commands or from GUI. From GUI, go to system > administration > network. Add a new connection and choose xDSL as an option and move ahead answering the questions appropriately.
Else you can use adsl-setup command.
Do it as root.
and follow the question and answer that, for my case this so clear. and make sure your modem on bridge mode. if you want ICS, you can use firestater or iptables
