Exclamation HELP! check for corrupted mail drop. POP3 what now ?

Servermeldung: "[SYS/PERM] Unable to process From lines (envelopes), change recognition modes or check for corrupted mail drop."

says my server when i trie to connect to the pop3 service!
what to do now?
HELP!

Lightbulb i have got it
just kill the /var/spool/mail/user file

I don't understend. How to kill /var/spool/mail/user. Command to do that?

Hey,
I got the same problem. In my case the reason was that I had checked the option to keep the mails on the server forever. Now I have unchecked it and the mail client is working fine.
