Unhappy !!! Help !!!!

Hello my problem is: Im installed a server apache 2.2.4 (is the last version so I suppose that have support for IPv6) in linux fedora core 6 then I connected the server to a network IPv6 only (the network are 3 routers cisco 2620 with IPv6 support).

In the opposite site of the network I installed a pc with windows XP and I tried to access to the server putting the IPv6 address in the internet explorer but doesnt work. I tried using the command ping (using the DOS) and it works, so i dont know what is the problem.

if anyone can help I will appreciate.

Att

have you verified that the apache server is on and working as it should by going to http://localhost/ on the linux machine.

if you can ping the linux machine but not get http, sounds like the network is fine but that protocol is not being served up.

have you verified the network using other protocols like ssh?

sorry, but I really don't know what the problem could be then if the server is working and you can access the machine across the network. puzzling.

as for ssh, I'm not sure I understand your question, but basically ssh is used for remote logins and uses public and private keys for encryption, but you log in using your server's username and password, just as you would if you were physically at the machine.
