getent passwd and wibinfo -u not working


HI,

i installed samba . set all the config files. tested the kerberos settings.

klist , and kinit are also working.

net ads join -U administrator also works some times and doesnt work some times

but getent passwd and wbinfo -u are not working.

i also must tell u that some how the domain controllers have stopped logging in other people including the system admins. they do login some people and do not login others.

is this because of samba messing up with the domain controller ?

any way can any one tell me what changes to make on the AD side to make these two commands working.?
