force newly connected wireless users to website or Agreement

I'd like to force users who connect to my wireless network for the first time to a website or some sort of agreement page where they must accept it in order to use the network. Anyone know of any software/hardware to do this?

You will have to give us more information on your setup. If you are running a wireless router (pre built type) you will have to be able to run programs on it, in order to do what you are asking. The linkys wrt54g (and the rest of that series) can be loaded with custom firmware to be able to do this(reprogram).

If you cannot reprogram the router (or you are not running a pre built router) you could build another machine to act as a router. In this setup it would be public->wireless router->built router->internet.

I may be wrong but dont hotspots work exactly like you are describing forcing a user to a login page before they can surf the net ?

If that is the case then you can take a look at how chilispot does it and use the same principles.

Thanks for the replies so far

Basically I am going to go from Internet connection > Server > Router > clients so yes the server will act as the router and hand out DHCP. I would like to do this for both wireless and wired connections I found a programming 2hotspot but so far setting it up has not been successful.
