Fedora core3 and wccp


i had installed RH9 and i install squid and i compile the wccp module and it works fine.
but when i install fedora core 3 i couldnt configure wccp so i need to know how to deal with it .

thanx in advance

The latest FC3 kernel comes with WCCP in the kernel, so the separate module should no longer be needed.

but i still dont now how to make it work

squid is working now good as transparent and i enabled wccp in squid.conf
but still my router cant see squid box.

im sure of my router configurating as it was working fine with squid on redhat9

anything else to do??!!

How is squid "working good as transparent" without WCCP? As luck would have it, I did a feature column for the April Linux Magazine (which should hit stores soon) that details how to setup transparent proxing using Squid, WCCP and FC3. Hopefully that will be able to walk you through it. If you have any other specific questions, let us know.
