Everything looks fine after upgrade, but nothing connects

I upgraded Linux. All went well, but I have no internet connectivity. That is, I can't ping anything. But AFAICS everything looks just fine. I can ping my own address, but not the router or anything else.

Can you see anything wrong here? Or can you tell me what else to look at?
Code:
$ netstat -nr

This is most bizarre. It's been about 20 hours since the upgrade and nothing has worked.

But now suddenly, after sitting idle for a couple hours, everything works. I literally didn't do anything. I hate not knowing what's going on, but I'll take it for now.

I haven't used ethtool before. Thank you for alerting me to it. I'll try it if it fails again.
