Startting PCMCIA.....

I installed the packages that were on the site but i still get this message:

#/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart
Shutting down PCMCIA services: cardmgr modules. <high pitch beep>
Starting PCMCIA services: modules cardmgr. <no beep>
#

I edited the /etc/pcmcia/config file and added:
card "D-Link DWL-650
manfid 0x0156, 0x0002
bind "wvlan_cs"

Still nothing. Any other ideas?
