Dual network config

My PC is part of two networks (as in, I have two eth adapters, each connected to different hubz). My problem is how to configure the samba server so that i can browse one network, while being visible on the second.

I'm a newbie at this, so I don't know exactly what each entry does in the smb.conf file. Plus I have a problem... smbtree only shows my computer from all the workstations in the workgroups. Sometimes, my name was nowhere to be found on the smbtree output

After 5-10 min. of browsing through my network (konqueror smb:///), all the worksations dissapeared from the workgroups, and they showed up only in smbtree. When I was able to see them in konqueror, smbtree wasn't displaying them.

SMB4K returns an error when I try to browse the workgroup I have set up in smb.conf (workgroup = THEGROUP). It says something like parameter is incorrect, the same error that I get trying to do a smbclient -M HOST on certain hosts. I have no ideea what OSes are in my network, but they are likely to be Win98SE + WinXP
