Do after changed the hostname, can't connection by SSH again?

Hi all linux user,

I have a linux server host in a web host center, it is RH7.3, and have a hostname aa88.998bb.com, I know it is a subdomain, so the publish dns server can't resolve it.

Now, I want to using this server be a DNS server with a new domain name I appky long time ago, it is iclub.com.hk (just for example at here, not is a really domain name)

My machine have a publish IP, it is 210.222.155.12 (Just a example IP here)

Now, I want to ask, the /etc/hosts is like this now

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain
210.222.155.12 aa88.998bb.com aa88

I want to ask, do I just change 210.222.155.12 aa88.998bb.com aa88 to
210.222.155.12 www.iclub.com.hk after that and then reboot, do I can't login again by SSH? Since thw web host told me if I can't connect by SSH again, help me change back the old setting need we pay for HKD 300, it is very expersive if I just change a line of code. So ask this question.

Thx

I don't think you will have any problem with that. As long as you still have the sshd running, you should be able log in. It's easy for you to setup two linux boxs to try it. The worse case is that you need to delete the host entry in your client side, which is under $HOME/.ssh/known_hosts.
