DMZ and web servers

Ok I think this may be more of a question for the smoothwall irc channel. But there is noone there. So I hope you guys can help me out.

I have an apache web server in my firewalls DMZ. The DMZ network cards ip is 192.10.10.1. The web server’s ip is 192.10.10.2. The virtual ip that the web page is bound to is 192.10.10.3

My internal network in the green zone in has an ip of 192.168.10.0. Nat on a windows 2003 server handles the internal computers. The firewall connects directly to the 2003 server.

I can ping the network card for the DMX on the firewall. 192.10.10.1. But I can’t ping the ip of the server or the virtual ip. 192.10.10.2 and 3.

I want to connect to the web server via webmin on port 10000 but I can get to the computer.

Can any of you shed sum light on what I am missing.

first, change the dmz network to 192.168.??.??, this network is private, the 192.10.10.?? might already be in use by someone else.

second, make sure your webserver has sub devices, such as an eth0 and an eth0:1 etc... make eth0 be 192.168.10.2 and eth0:1 be 192.168.10.3

To access the dmz network from green on smoothwall, you also need dmz pin holes. allow source green access to the needed ports on destination orange.
