Dial in server problem


Hi all

i configured dial in server on RH 7.2 .But when i dial from client then it says check your password.

when i see the /var/log/messages then it shows the following error.


Mar 5 23:44:44 bally pppd[2993]: pppd 2.4.1 started by a_ppp, uid 0

Mar 5 23:44:47 bally pppd[2993]: Exit.
Mar 5 23:45:14 bally mgetty[3035]: init chat failed, exiting...: Invalid argument
Mar 5 23:45:14 bally mgetty[3035]: failed in mg_init_data, dev=ttyS0, pid=3035


Kindly help me out
