Hello, I have an ADSL router that sometimes drops connection. This isn't my main problem, as it only drops for 3 or 4 seconds or so, but when it drops my computer's network gets messed up. After a connection drop, the pc will stop communicating with the router if i try and access the internet, and I have to restart the network daemon.
How can I set up my network/dhcpd to avoid this?
Thanks.
The problem persists with different routers, my carrier is Telkom, yes I think my pc uses the router for DHCP.
There are 3 PCs on the network, I am using ArchLinux with a DHCP supplied IP. My rc.conf's network settings are set up for DHCP (interface=eth0, address, gateway, netmask, broadcast and gateway are blank).
