delay pool
Well, I have a Linux Red Hat 9.0 with Squid 2.5 STABLE1 (built-in) and tranparent proxy.
Now I would like to implement a Delay Pool feature. My question is:
1. How can I reconfigure it with --enable-delay-pools? When we reconfigure Squid, does it feature accumulated? Does it affect existing feature?
2. I got a 256kbps DSL line for my network. The problem is:
a. I have three network, let's say A, B and C. A & B only have 3
computers while C have 20 computers. What I would like to do is
just give network A & B with 30kbps each, and the remaining
(~200kpbs) for the C network as it has much more computer. How
can I do it? do I need to seperate those network with acl or
whatever?
b. I would like to give 20kbps to every computer in each network, but
the speed should reduce down to 10kbps when the download reach
2MB of files.
3. One more thing that I don't really understand is when we write in class 2
Delay_parameters 1 256kbps/256kbyte 64kbps/128kbytes (just for example to be easily understanded, I know it is not correct). For the 64kbps/128kbytes, how does it affect the single host? I mean does it affect per one browser session only or for everything else?
