Default gateway not being set when using DHCP

I'm running Fedora Core 5 for over a year and I just starting having network problems where my computer receives a good IP address for my network, but then the default gateway does not get set.

Route provides the following information.

Code:

I can add the gateway manually, but if I reboot my computer or take the interface down and bring it back up I then have to add the gateway again. I did a packet capture while my computer was getting a DHCP address and the DHCP ACK packet from my DHCP server contains Option 3 setting the router to the correct address.

I'm not quite sure how to fix this issue--any help would be appreciated.

I was able to get the default gateway to start working again by editing:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

I deleted everything below ONBOOT=yes

The only problem I have now is that, my routing table still contains the stupid windoze private IP address route--I not sure how to get rid of this.
