Smile cross compilation error for ssh-3.2.9.1


Hi to all,

This is tamil.i need to have ssh and scp command to linux running on ln2440sbc board.so i cross compiled ssh-3.2.9.1.tar.gz for target.
i run following command

export CC=arm-linux-gcc

1. ./configure --host=arm-linux

it created make file for cross platform.then i run

2.make

it showed this error

/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[4]: *** [ssh-askpass2] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/root/Desktop/3/ssh-3.2.9.1/apps/ssh'
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/Desktop/3/ssh-3.2.9.1/apps/ssh'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/Desktop/3/ssh-3.2.9.1/apps'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/Desktop/3/ssh-3.2.9.1'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

now i am not able to solve this problem.

can anyone guide me?

OpenSSH is trying to link to the libX11 library on your host system. X Windows is an optional dependency for OpenSSH and I would suspect that there is a switch you can pass to OpenSSH's configure script to disable X Window support.
