Connecting to MS networks


I am running SuSE 10 and I am having trouble accessing the shared resources on my windows MCE pc, i have no clue where to start and am totally new to linux networking so any help at all would be great!

You need to look in to the Samba. It was designed to allow non-Windows computers to network with Windows.

will it work if i only have it on my suse pc, or do i need to put anything on to the media centre pc to?

Just on the SuSE pc - check out the site and the documentation. Also look at www.tldp.org
