Now I need to configure it (/etc/network/interfaces for example) but when googling a lot of good guides seem to have dissaphered (404).

Can someone help me on this?

edit: its dhcp
edit: used wrong keywords to search, I see that it has been asked before a few times here, but I cant find a answer how my configuration files should look like

Giving the modem for like 1 minute no power, and then first turn on the modem and then debian seems to work, but it sounds like a trick to me .

But at will experiment with that some more
