configure reverse proxy in xampp

Evening,
Am still stuck with a problem on how to configure apache in xampp to point to a private address on my server and since as of now i havent had a public IP to use, i want some help on the configuration of xampp.
i dono if anyone here has used it to do the reverse proxying but if you will have considerably helped me out.

If so where exactly is the file with the proxy reverse options since the configuration files are scattered in one folder called 'extras'?

looked for it but never saw it.

I am not sure where xammp keeps the config files for apache. If you dont know do a
locate httpd.conf

once you find its location VI it and look for the proxy section

Reverse Proxy

ProxyRequests Off

<Proxy *>
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from all
Allow from 192.168.0
</Proxy>

ProxyPass / http://internal.ip.address.whatever
