configure billion adsl modem in red hat 9

hi all ,im just new to linux and this forum.
recently i have installed red hat linux 9 with my windows xp.my adsl connection works fine with xp but due to lankness of familiarity with redhat 9 i do not know how to configure my adsl modem.also i do not know is there any free driver for my modem or not.
i have installed this modem billion bipac 5210s .its connected through usb port one .

Hi and welcome to LQ.

Red Hat 9 is a very old distro that reached its end of life several years ago. I suggest you install the latest version of Fedora or CentOS. Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux replaced Red Hat Linux. You need to pay for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, but if you do not want to do that, you can use CentOS, which is a free RHEL rebuild.

"Billion Bipac 5210s" : Also being a router it is
probably easier to set it up using one of the ethernet
connectors.
(When you get a new Linux, RH 9 is from year 2002)
