Hi All
Can Any One Help Me...Regarding These Questions
1 - What Is Directory Service In Linux?
2- Investigate, in details, the implementations of Directory Services under Linux only (i.e. Not Active Directory).
3 - Design and implement one of the Directory Services available under Linux using the Red Hat Fedora Core 5 system we have in the lab. The implementation should also include the use of DNS and DHCP server. Your implementation will require 1 PC running a Fedora Core 5 Virtual Machine plus a Client (either XP or another FC5 VM).
Please Can Any One Help Me .....!
waiting for hopefull response
Thank You In Advance
Saqib Azhar
We're not doing to do your homework... Try Googling: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...ctory+services
Wow.. Looks like it has something to do with LDAP. Why don't I type that into Google? Oh, what do ya know? The first hit is OpenLDAP.. Click. Ooh... An administrator's guide. Why don't I click on that? >>clickety click<<
Sorry mate, I just don't think it's fair to ask us to do your work for you... And you have put absolutely no effort into this, because you would've found out what a directory service is if you had (and would not have included question 1 in your question... Or the others, for that matter).

You know, telling people to search on google is not usefull. How do you think I ended on this thread? I googled the same question. Now I should re-google it? Please, post an answer or don't post anything.

You do realize that the thread you just resurrected to complain about is four years old, don't you? Not to mention that the OP was in very clear violation of the LQ Rules about homework.
