can't see hosts 'outside' my switch

hi!
i'm connected to LAN and, wierd thing, see only hosts 'inside' my switch, i.e. connected directly to switch ports.
run nmap -vsS 10.0.2.0/23 and from 512 hosts i can see only 3.
(which is why i've got no internet - i can't see gateway 10.0.2.1)

what is that? pls help.

thanks in a advance.

No idea without knowing the rest of your network. Could have a layer 2 firewall, could have 802.1x blocking you...

Mac Auth? Is that 802.1x then? stick port security? no idea... sounds like something expired, and I'd assume your sysadmin would know in a flash.
