You have severe probs there

Hey, you met some point! You're an analyzer, aren't you?
On boot, there are always error messages like, "Basic networking -- failed".
After I've logged in graphically, I always enable eth2 (which is my current network card, and which is usually disabled in the graphic dialog after booting), and next, setup pppoeconf to dial-in to the DSL provider.
Actually, pppoeconf should access the internet at boot-time, automatically. On both Ubuntu 5.10 and 6.06 (both betas) (on different computers) I had to re-configure and initiate the internet connection everytime after I was graphically logged in.
Where do I have the option to adjust the settings manually?
Thanks indeed
