AUthenticat users in Active Directory through Squid

Hi
I have Windows 2000 server which uis acting as Domain Controller for my company having 1000+ employees.I want to use squid as proxy server on Linux for entire network. The problem is that i want that users who are only part of my domain can only use Internet, means authentication should be done through Active Directory.Once the user who has logged into domain should be able to access internet, others should be denied.
Now the question is "How to Authenticate users on Windows 2000 Platform in Active Directory using Squid"
Can anybody Help me out ?
Thanks

pam_smb is the first step. It's not pretty, but it is effective.

Mixing authentications isn't something that you should go into blindly - you really have to understand all sides - AD, Samba, and Squid - before you jump into this else you are liable to leave huge security holes. I don't have any .conf files to give as I am still running on a NT4 domain - pam_smb is mearly the keyword that you will need to find what you are looking for.
