apache wont send cookies!

uhh! i just built the sweetest web server using fedora 1 core. basically everything is working perfectly. the mysql database works well with php and my sites run just as well as the did on the windows box.

ONE PROBLEM! the darn thing wont send cookies. this is pretty much disastrous since my forum and sites all need information from these to work.

the strange thing is that if you login from mozilla or firefox the cookie is sent and seems to work just fine. however if my users use IE then they get nothing. ive tried this on several computers at different locations with the same results. if you have any suggestions i would love to hear them. Im just to close to being able to chuck my win2k server out in the garbage. (<- i sure would love to do that )

are you using snitz for the forum? I had this problem at a site I go to, no real fix that I know of... I had to ask the admin to delete the account, and I had to "resign"... then I got the cookie again from the forum software..
Just so you know, it's not apache that sends (generates) cookies. It's the code in your pages.

hello. basicly my server date was wrong. it was sending out cookies that should have expired like in 1999. i changed the date and fixed the problem.
