Exclamation Apache php4 CMS


I have a debian sarge 3.1 and an homepage https://www.hardcode.ath.cx with obvious problems of looking.I have heard about cms but the problem is i have never used one and i don't know php4 neither mysql.So i'm afther an easy one and possibly no sql needed.I have tryed flatnuke and Mambo , configured apache2 , and when the browser loads the .php page a download show off asking in which dictory i want to download the index.php page ... ??? ... what's wrong ?Any link and help regard this issue will help !!!

You need at least the following 2 lines in your apache httpd.conf to work with php:

LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Of course you have to change the first line with the correct path to the libphp4.so module.
