Apache index file Location

I have set up apache web server.
And I can view the test page / default index file from another computer other then my server.
But my question is, were is the test index file located?
So that I can find it, and copy my new index file over it.

Every one alwayZ does a great job of helping people on this site.

RedHat puts it at /var/www/html

The full answer is to search the Apache config file, /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf for a line that says DocumentRoot. That answer should always work!
