Apache 2 Port 80 closed on Netware 6.5 SP6 server

I have been using this web server for a few years. About a month ago it quit allowing access to it. I ran netstat -aLn and port 80 is not listed. I found a fix in a different thread for Linux that said something about stopping iptable service but the command did not work on my netware server. Does anyone have a fix for netware. Thank-you.

Sounds like Apache isn't running. Did you try to start it?

I'm not a NetWare guy by any stretch of the imagination, but a Google search turns up evidence that perhaps your certificate has expired?

http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod...tml#post507801 (Look at the last post for the error log entries and tentative diagnosis)

Hope that helps.

Thanks. That is what I am finding. I guess there is a two year expiration on certificates now that novell is moving to Open Enterprise Servers. Thanks again for your help. I am in the process of doing what it takes to renew my certificates.
