Again..... Help please.


I'll try ask for help again.

I'll like to try Debian 5. I installed yesterday but can't get my wireless to work. When I used ubuntu I was told to install "backport modules" and it worked. Is there anything like this in debian??? It's like the wireless is not on or I just can't detect my wireless connection.
I use ath5k driver (I think). I'm not a linux expert at all but know some basics.
Since my work at school depends on wireless I really need help.

Please help!!!

Here is the Debian help page on configuring the ath5k wireless.

If you are not sure that is what you need you could post the output of lspci here so we could verify.
