Advice for network printer setups

Hello. I have a network dishes out dynamic IPs and can not get static. I am wanting to replace the the current NT4 server w/ a Samba. The NT4 server uses DLC connections for printing, but I'm not finding anything that describes DLC printing from Linux. Can anyone suggest a good way to setup HP Network printers in a dynamic address environment? Also, systems are not given host names when assigned an IP.

Thanks guys!
