2nd ip on eth0

i have redhat9 linux server with following ips

eth0 192.168.1.1 internal
eth1 202.88.210.4 external

i want to assign 170.1.1.56 ip to eth0 as eth0:0 without installing a 3rd lan card.this eth0 and eth0:0 will talk to each other.today i browse internet on 192.168.1.1 and i wanted to browse on 170.1.1.1 sunbet
so please suggest any ip table script or any commands me. i know how to add another ip to lan card by this command ifconfig eth0:0 170.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up.i want to browse internet on 192.168.1.1 and 170.1.1.1 subnet without any problem.also an iptable script for ftp connectivity and outside udp connectivity.

can you please give more detail to this, ie. why you want to (an example).

eth0 can already 'talk' to eth0.. no?

i don't have any free ports on the hub, that is why i am asking you the iptables script for this. And if i add third lan card eth2 170.1.1.56 ip on this give me the iptables script for 3rd lan card which shares the internet on 192.168.1.1 and 170.1.1.56 ip from my external 202.88.210.4 ip.

give me both iptables script for eth0:0 and eth2 lan card

please help me i have little knowledge of linux proxy server.

What you ask couldn't be more obscure. Why exactly assigning "170.1.1.58" as a second ip would free a port on the hub? In any way, what you ask can't be done (or don't have anything to do with) iptables. Assign your ip , then make up the "routing" (you will need the command "route", try "man route" for help, there is some example) for this ip.
If you really believe what you ask is possible (in network sense), providing schemas and details of what you try to do would probably help us.
