NO connection with headphones when livestreaming on Instagram

Here's the thing:

Android 13
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G (G991B/DS)
JBL Headphones that works in general when Bluetooth is in question.
I have checked all known Sound settings and as soon as I start to broadcast live on Instagram the connection seems to fail so I only get external phone speaker which is annoying for not just me, but for all people around me.

I even allowed Phone and Mic in the Instagram info settings.

Still no sound in my headset.

What can I do to debug this?

Can you use wired headphone/earbuds to test whether the wired connection works? If it does, that would indicate that the problem is confined to the bluetooth connection.

It's a shot in the dark, but it might be worth a test.

Can't I debug the issue through using adb logcat while trying to reproduce the issue or won't that show?

Apparently I CAN get the sound into my headphones, but only if I start bluetooth from the pull down AFTER I've started my Livestream.
This makes me feel like there's an issue with the bluetooth module.
