LG V496 tablet?

I have an LG V496 tablet, gotten from T-Mobile that I'd like to install Linux on. No desire to preserve the T-Mobileiness whatsoever...just straight Linux.

Can it be done on this LG?

Thank you!

Is it a Windows tablet or an Android tablet?

It's possible but you have to know what you are doing. -:::-If not done right it will turn the tablet into a brick.-:::-
I know a few people who tried it and their tablets are completely useless.

***I strongly suggest that you do research and some reading about it first. If you don't have complete confirmation I wouldn't go through with it.***

You're Welcome.

I can't blame you for not wanting any of tmobile or googles stuff. Who know what kind of nonsense they could be using, installing or doing:- Shame it's that way.

Since your tablet is an Android give this a read when you have the time. Good Luck.
