Question Is there a list of Android phones that support VOIP?

I tried calling in Google Voice over the Internet and my phone mic didn't work. I could hear the other side, but couldn't talk.

I've read that's intentionally done either by the carrier service or set in the phone hardware.

Is there a list of Android phones/carriers that allow full calling over The Internet?

When I search on VOIP phones, I get a list of business office phones.

I would imagine you can allow the app to access the mic. It'll be in 'permissions', somewhere in your 'settings'.

Hi Pete I'm American with colonial-era York roots.

Voice has microphone permissions.

This is done deliberately by designers.
