How can I write an application for mobile sing Linux?

I am new to this area. I want to develop an application for mobile using linux. Can any one help me how to do this?

Build your application over an Android --it is based on Linux. Get an android SDK and begin learning, you can get it click here.

i dont think it is possible to develop an application using linux

Yes it is possible, try "malekmustaq" link and dowload the android SDK. Just try its actually fun..
