Setting up PHPMyAdmin on Mint 13

Hello

For the last two days I have been trying, rather unsuccessfully to configure PHPMyAdmin on my Mint 13 box. I have been able to login but after that there are numerous warnings regarding the fact that my config file has not been setup properly. I've Googled PHPMyAdmin for the last two days but have run into nothing but confusing suggestions. Has any of you managed this beastie ? A weblink(s) offering useful advice would be appreciated.

I looked at the link that you sent and while useful, it does not address the issue of the configuration of PHPMyAdmin. Anyway my work around was to use the MySQL server login on Webmin which works quite well.
