Mint 19.1 install on a Dell E6420 A21 bios

Tried to install Mint 19.1 today and get message from the installer indicating that there is no space available on the 150 GB drive installed. Like to know if there is an issue with the UEFI software on the bios. Appreciate any insight others might have on the problem.

do you have windows on this drive? If so need to disable fast-boot in power settings, and shrink the windows partition with windows disk manager to make room for the mint install
